In the hours after Donald Trump’s election as president of the United States, social media became the go-to place for celebrities and world leaders to express themselves.
Some of the most outspoken anti-Trump celebrities were, unsurprisingly, typing out messages of frustration and disappointment.
Judd Apatow, who had tweeted his distaste for Trump throughout the campaign, was among the most active celebs on Twitter.
“So the host of The Apprentice who loves Putin and p***y grabbing controls house-senate and the Supreme Court. What could go wrong?” he tweeted, in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Comedian Amy Schumer, professed her admiration for Hillary Clinton early and often in this election cycle, took to Instagram with a photo of a confused looking American bald eagle.
