(RELATED: See more hilarious celebrity fails at CelebrityReputation.com)

This is all on the heels of Meryl Streep’s widely criticized attempted verbal assault on Trump, which earned her a massive backlash against fans who have said they will no longer watch her movies.

As this “I Will Survive” song demonstrates (see video below), Hollywood celebrities have lost their pathetic minds… they’ve curled into whimpering little balls and are cowering under the covers, shivering with self-induced delusional paranoia combined with the kind of bubble-minded psychosis that can only be found in Hollywood.

I think I speak for pretty much the entire world when I say to these celebrities: Please #STFU and go back to making movies. You look incredibly stupid when you try to act like a real person. You’re really only interesting to watch when pretending to be someone else.

Advice to famous Hollywood snowflakes: Never let the public see who you really are… they will be sorely disappointed.

With some notable exceptions, most celebrities are not smart, not informed and not important

Expecting an actor to know anything about geopolitics, the structure of government, the history of liberty vs. tyranny or the giant scam of the fiat currency debt-based money supply is like hiring your local pool cleaner to perform brain surgery on your skull. Famous actors are usually not informed people. With some notable exceptions, they live in bubbles of sheer delusion that are laughably disconnected from the real lives of real people.

Some of the exceptions, by the way, include Suzanne Somers who is incredibly well informed on the scam of the cancer industry, and Rob Schneider who is similarly well informed about the dangers of injecting children with mercury via toxic vaccines. There are others as well, but for the most part, famous Hollywood people are truly among the most misinformed, disconnected and delusional people on the planet. (RELATED: Find more news about truly stupid people at Stupid.news)

Listen to them murder the song “I Will Survive” in the most pathetic, cringe-worthy rendition you’ve ever heard (and then stop renting, buying or seeing the movies starring these delusional, pathetic whiners).

Nicole Kidman: It’s time to accept, support Trump /celebrityreputation/2017-01-13-nicole-kidman-its-time-to-accept-support-trump /celebrityreputation/2017-01-13-nicole-kidman-its-time-to-accept-support-trump#respond Wed, 30 Nov -0001 00:00:00 +0000 http://162.244.66.231/celebrityreputation/2017-01-13-nicole-kidman-its-time-to-accept-support-trump Nicole Kidman says it’s time for Americans to both accept and support Donald Trump as the country’s next president, saying, “He’s there and let’s go.”

(Article by Judy Kurtz from TheHill.com)

“I would just say he’s now elected,” Kidman said in an interview this week with BBC News when asked her opinion of the president-elect, “and we as a country need to support whosever the president is, because that’s what the country’s based on.”

The Australian “Lion” star, who has dual American citizenship and posted a photo last November alongside husband Keith Urban sporting an “I Voted” sticker, said she’s typically reluctant to speak out about politics.

“I’m always reticent to start commenting politically. I’ve never done it in terms of America or Australia. I’m issue-based,” she said.

But referring to Trump, the 49-year-old Academy Award winner said, “Whatever, however that happened, he’s there and let’s go.”

Kidman, a United Nations Women goodwill ambassador, stressed that her focus is on political issues, rather than political figures, saying, “I’m very, very committed to women’s issues in terms of I do a lot of fundraising for U.N. Women and I do a lot of traveling for them.”

“I also do an enormous amount of fundraising for breast and ovarian cancer, because that’s something that’s affected my family deeply,” she said. “So they’re my issues that I’m very attached to.”

PLEASE, Hollywood, shut down completely while Trump makes America great again /celebrityreputation/2017-01-11-please-hollywood-shut-down-completely-while-trump-makes-america-great-again /celebrityreputation/2017-01-11-please-hollywood-shut-down-completely-while-trump-makes-america-great-again#respond Wed, 30 Nov -0001 00:00:00 +0000 http://162.244.66.231/celebrityreputation/2017-01-11-please-hollywood-shut-down-completely-while-trump-makes-america-great-again Ever since Donald Trump first announced his intention to run for president in 2016, the Hollywood elite have been doing everything in their power to prevent him from being successful. What first began with mocking eventually turned into mild concern, which led to full-blown freakouts when Trump actually managed to be elected as the next president of the United States. Since November 8th, few people have lost their minds quite as severely as Hollywood leftists, who cannot seem to accept the fact that the American people really don’t care about their political opinions.

A group of Hollywood liberals recently decided that the best way to get rid of Trump is to threaten to stop working. The group stated, “It’s about time people understood that we’re the ones with the power and that the president is there to serve us, not the other way around. We’re calling for a general strike that would include every single person involved in making motion pictures in Hollywood, starting with the actors and celebrities themselves and encompassing companies in charge of making props, movie memorabilia and even souvenir shops.” The threat was published in the New York Times, which shows how serious they think the rest of us take them. (RELATED: See more celebrity news at CelebrityReputation.com)

Unfortunately for them, as the 2016 presidential election has proven, Middle America and the working class in our country — the people who voted for Donald Trump — are none too concerned with what celebrities want the rest of us to do. If Hollywood goes away in the name of increased individual liberties, then that’s something that a vast majority of us are more than willing to accept. Most of us can survive just fine without Hollywood’s terrible movies anyway.

But it is this kind of horrific self-importance from the Regressive Left that led to most of us supporting Donald Trump in the first place. The fact that they believe that by threatening to go away, the average American will be so upset that they want to change their voting record is one of the most narcissistic things imaginable. It’s funny that they seem to believe that they represent a majority of Americans, when a majority of Americans seem to find them incredibly annoying.

So keep this in mind, Hollywood elite: None of us really care if you decide to disappear tomorrow. In fact, there are plenty of us from the real working class that are more than willing to throw you a going away party.

Note to Meryl Streep and all the left-wing Hollywood fantasy land inhabitants: Being famous, ignorant and loudmouthed is not an award-worthy achievement /celebrityreputation/2017-01-10-meryl-streep-left-wing-hollywood-fantasy-land-being-famous-ignorant-and-loudmouthed-is-not-an-award-worthy-achievement /celebrityreputation/2017-01-10-meryl-streep-left-wing-hollywood-fantasy-land-being-famous-ignorant-and-loudmouthed-is-not-an-award-worthy-achievement#respond Wed, 30 Nov -0001 00:00:00 +0000 http://162.244.66.231/celebrityreputation/2017-01-10-meryl-streep-left-wing-hollywood-fantasy-land-being-famous-ignorant-and-loudmouthed-is-not-an-award-worthy-achievement The greatest mistake people like Meryl Streep keep making is thinking that they are experts in geopolitics and the structure of free societies. In truth, all the left-wing Hollywood fantasy land inhabitants are pathetically uninformed, unintelligent and largely unimportant to the real world.

They are actors, not analysts. They are experts in make believe, not experts in reality. They’ve become so good at the art of impersonation and deception that they are even able to deceive themselves into thinking they’re the most important people in society. As a result, they may have pretty faces, but they have incredibly ugly ideas.

With notable exceptions such as Jon Voight — a true American hero — most of the actors in Hollywood are so out of touch with the American people that they have no clue how the real world works. I’ve actually had famous people call me and want to do interviews with me who were then completely shocked that I told them “no” because I didn’t think they were serious enough people to give a platform on Natural News.

Hollywood leftists are hopelessly out of touch with the real world

Famous people aren’t used to being told “no.” In the fantasy world they inhabit, everyone caters to their silly whims, and everyone says “yes” without critical dissent. This is exactly what makes Meryl Streep, Martin Sheen, Cher, Jimmy Kimmel, Matt Damon and a long list of other hopelessly “bubble minded” left-wing Hollywood types hopelessly out of touch with the real world (and frankly boring as hell to be around, because they have no meaningful ideas that matter).

They’re so out of touch that they don’t even realize the world is mocking them when they talk about politics. Hearing Meryl Streep talk about politics is a lot like listening to a Starbucks barista give you stock market investment advice. The total cluelessness of these people just astounds the senses and offends the mind. I cringe at the thought of wasting time hanging out with famous people who are completely clueless about world events. While I have many friends in Hollywood who genuinely are famous people, they happen to be the few who are well informed, patriotic and humble.

Meryl Streep leads Hollywood’s nauseating parade of stupidity and ignorance

A typical Natural News reader knows a hundred times more about geopolitics, finance and government than Meryl Streep will ever know… yet she parades around with an air of moral superiority that demands people listen to her analysis of world events for no other reason than the fact that she’s really convincing when pretending to be other people.

Meryl Streep: You’re an actor. Nothing more. Your opinions on geopolitics not only don’t matter; they are offensive to those of us who are real analysts of world events. Your secret recipe of ignorance and stupidity combined with arrogance and self-importance is frankly nauseating to every informed person in the world.

I still can’t believe Clint Eastwood was even willing to work beside you in Bridges of Madison County. Eastwood is a genuine American: Informed, hard working, courageous and determined. More importantly, Eastwood is a humble man who doesn’t run around demanding everyone kow-tow to his political worldview just because he’s a famous person.

It doesn’t even matter how many “awards” you’ve won from your fellow uninformed Hollywood cohorts. Honestly, to most Americans, racking up awards in Hollywood is of no more consequence than gaining bonus points in an arcade game. They’re both artificial realities — bubbles of self-aggrandizement that are completely isolated from reality. Win all the awards you want… you’re still completely clueless how the world really works and why the political philosophies you espouse always end up creating murderous tyrannies and endless human suffering. Until you learn real history and understand the cycles of human liberty and tyranny, you should shut your trap unless you’re playing a character, in which case we already know everything you say is “pretend.”

Meryl Streep exemplifies the crude intolerance and bullying of the Hollywood left

Meryl Streep, let me give you an actual lesson in reality. If you want tolerance in the world, stop being intolerant. If you want people to be treated with dignity, stop insulting the incredibly diverse athletic competition known as MMA. If you want to be taken seriously as a political analyst, stop being an actor and learn something real about geopolitics.

If you want to be taken seriously as a person, stop spending your life pretending to be someone else.

If you want to be respected for your ideas, discover ideas that aren’t rooted in delusion.

If you want to make the world a better place, first get out of your delusional bubble of Hollywood elitists who are completely clueless about reality.

If you want to live a life that matters, then you’ll have to do more than just “play pretend” in your fantasy bubble known as Hollywood. Wake up and look in the mirror: You are famous, but unimportant. You are well known but widely despised. You have influence and a voice, yet you use it to spread lies and disinformation. You abuse your celebrity, you insult your audience and you further cement the widely held belief that most people in Hollywood are delusional, disconnected morons when it comes to the real world.

Frankly, you’ve just given millions of Americans one more good reason to turn off the TV, stop watching Hollywood left-wing propaganda and start doing something that matters in the real world.

You are offensive to the intellect, and an insult to the arts. If you want to live a life that truly matters, you’ll have to do better than being famous, ignorant and loudmouthed.

If you really want to understand the real world, call up Jon Voight, beg him for forgiveness, and ask him to explain reality to you. Until you do that, the consensus around the world is that you should #STFU and go back to acting. (Yet now, I can’t even watch a movie with you in it without unintentionally activating a gag reflex…)

DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award at Sunday night’s Golden Globes — and used her acceptance speech to repeatedly attack President-elect Donald Trump in what was one of the night’s most pointed political statements.

Article by Jerome Hudson

The three-time Oscar-winner began her speech by noting that Hollywood is the most “vilified” segment of American society following Donald Trump’s victory.

“Hollywood is crawling with outsiders and foreigners. And if we kick them all out, you’ll have nothing to watch but football and Mixed Martial Arts, which are not the arts,” she said.

Streep said Trump’s mocking of disabled New York Times reporter Serge Kovaleski was the “performance” that most “stunned” her.

“There was nothing good about it, but it did its job,” the actress said. “It kind of broke my heart when I saw it, and I still can’t get it out my head because it wasn’t in a movie, it was in real life. That instinct to humiliate when it’s modeled by someone in a public platform, it filters down into everyone’s life because it gives permission for others to do the same.”

“Disrespect invites disrespect, violence incites violence,” Streep said.

Streep challenged a “principled press” to stand up to Trump; “to hold power to hold power to account, to call to the carpet for every outrage.

Streep called on Hollywood to support the Committee to Protect Journalists, “because we’re going to need them going forward — and they’ll need us to safeguard the truth.”

“Take your broken heart, make it into art,” Streep concluded, quoting the late actress Carrie Fisher.

“This is the cold blooded torture of an innocent human being,” he said in all caps.

He concluded by saying anyone who would do such a heinous crime cannot be trusted to not do it again.

Four people have been charged in the attack that was streamed live on Facebook.

In the video, a man is bound in a corner as his assailants yelled profanities at him about white people and Donald Trump.

Megyn Kelly joins fake news giant NBC News, where news liar Brian Williams used to work /celebrityreputation/2017-01-05-megyn-kelly-joins-fake-news-giant-nbc-news-where-news-liar-brian-williams-used-to-work-2 /celebrityreputation/2017-01-05-megyn-kelly-joins-fake-news-giant-nbc-news-where-news-liar-brian-williams-used-to-work-2#respond Wed, 30 Nov -0001 00:00:00 +0000 http://162.244.66.231/celebrityreputation/2017-01-05-fox-news-anchor-megyn-kelly-leaving-to-join-nbc Fox News Channel anchor Megyn Kelly, a star of the U.S. cable network’s highly rated prime-time lineup, has decided to leave to join NBC News in a broad role that includes hosting a one-hour daytime news show, NBC announced on Tuesday.

Article by Jessica Tonkel and Tim Baysinger

Kelly also will anchor a Sunday night news show and take part in the network’s special political programing and other big-event coverage, NBC News said in a statement.

The departure is a potential blow to Fox News, the top-rated cable news network, owned by Rupert Murdoch’s 21st Century Fox (FOXA.O). Just months ago, its founding chairman, Roger Ailes, left following sexual harassment allegations by several women.

Kelly was one of the accusers and detailed Ailes’ behavior in her best-selling book, “Settle for More.” Ailes has denied the allegations.

Fox News, which is known for a roster of conservative commentators such as Bill O’Reilly, remained at the top of cable news ratings amid the Ailes turmoil. The network delivered its highest annual viewership in its 20-year history in 2016.

Kelly, 46, played a large role in that success, with 2.7 million viewers on average for her prime-time show, “The Kelly File,” second on Fox only to O’Reilly’s program, “The O’Reilly Factor.”

“I have decided to end my time at FNC, incredibly enriched for the experiences I’ve had,” Kelly wrote on Facebook.

She became a subject of news stories after Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump attacked her as unfair for her questioning of him at a primary debate during the 2016 election campaign.

Fox made a bid to keep Kelly, offering her more than $20 million per year, according to an October report in Vanity Fair.

In a statement on Tuesday, Murdoch thanked Kelly for “her 12 years of contributions” to the network. “We hope she enjoys tremendous success in her career and wish her and her family all the best,” Murdoch said.

Kelly will host her prime-time show on Fox News through Friday.

While her departure leaves a hole in the Fox News lineup, it comes at a time when the network needs to reinvent itself to appeal to younger viewers, said Pivotal Research analyst Brian Wieser.

Fox News, like many of its peers, has an older audience, with a median age of over 65, higher than MSNBC and CNN, whose viewers’ median ages are 64 and 60, respectively, according to Nielsen data. Advertisers generally seek a much younger market.

“Their audience is aging,” Wieser said. “The question now for investors is, What will Fox put in Kelly’s place?”

Some media buyers said they expected Fox to maintain strong ratings given interest in the White House transition and the network’s other popular hosts.

Barry Lowenthal, president of agency The Media Kitchen, called Kelly’s departure “neutral” for the network.

“Given Fox’s ratings dominance, they’ve shown that they’re bigger than any one anchor,” he said.

Kelly joined Fox in 2004 as a Washington-based correspondent. Her decision to move to NBC News, a unit of Comcast Corp (CMCSA.O), was first reported by The New York Times.

While details about Kelly’s upcoming shows were scarce, she will be trying to succeed where high-profile news anchors have struggled. In recent years, Katie Couric and Anderson Cooper lasted just two seasons with syndicated daytime talk shows.

Kelly’s new NBC News colleague Brian Williams, meanwhile, saw his low-rated prime-time news magazine show, “Rock Center,” end after only two years.

With Schwarzenegger as Host, ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ Lacks Old Bite /celebrityreputation/2017-01-03-with-schwarzenegger-as-host-celebrity-apprentice-lacks-old-bite /celebrityreputation/2017-01-03-with-schwarzenegger-as-host-celebrity-apprentice-lacks-old-bite#respond Wed, 30 Nov -0001 00:00:00 +0000 http://162.244.66.231/celebrityreputation/2017-01-03-with-schwarzenegger-as-host-celebrity-apprentice-lacks-old-bite What was new about “The New Celebrity Apprentice”? “You’re fired” became “You’re terminated,” a catchphrase within a catchphrase — referring to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s career-making film, “Terminator” — that sounded clever for about two seconds. The setting moved from New York to Los Angeles, with a correspondingly sunny new opening sequence (still set to the O’Jays’ “For the Love of Money”).

Article by Mike Hale

And there was a new host, though if you hadn’t watched the 14 previous seasons of “Celebrity Apprentice” and the show from which it was spun off, “The Apprentice,” you might not have noticed. Donald J. Trump’s name wasn’t mentioned in Monday’s season premiere on NBC, appearing only during the closing credits, and the dreary two-hour episode sorely missed him. The closest the show came to acknowledging Mr. Trump was when Mr. Schwarzenegger, the new host, said: “I’m the new boss. And I intend to be tough but fair.”

Was that “fair” a dig at Mr. Trump, the businessman turned reality-television star turned polarizing president-elect, whose “Apprentice” tenure made him an international celebrity? NBC was in a bind, having claimed to sever ties with Mr. Trump after his first big campaign controversy (when he said of Mexican immigrants, “They’re rapists”) but still cutting him checks as an executive producer of the revamped show.

You can guess at the thinking in the boardroom. (The actual one at NBC, not the elaborate set where Mr. Schwarzenegger now terminates losing contestants.) The network needs to distance itself from Mr. Trump to protect its credibility, and after a strong start, the franchise’s ratings had been poor to middling for a broadcast-network reality series. But if the show appears to be running away from him, it might antagonize some of his constituency, not to mention displeasing a thin-skinned chief executive with influence at the Federal Communications Commission.

So he was a ghostly presence. Executive producers nearly always get their names onscreen at the top of a show, but on Monday the only opening credit was “Created by Mark Burnett,” giving pride of place to the reality-TV pioneer who made the inspired choice of Mr. Trump as host back in 2004.

And that pointed up the truth that “The Apprentice” never really was Mr. Trump’s show. He was the face of the franchise and participated in the profits, but he was Mr. Burnett’s hired gun. The series may have taken on, or shaped itself around, Mr. Trump’s persona, but it was Mr. Burnett who did the shaping. Mr. Trump’s performance was part of the raw material — an essential part, but a part nonetheless — that Mr. Burnett and his team of editors turned into television.

At a 2010 panel for “The Apprentice” in New York, an audience member asked, “Who is the boss?” Mr. Burnett, a consummate, professional businessman — which is to say, not someone you’d want as the host of your reality show — asked, “Do you think Donald’s going to listen to me?” and carefully explained that “everything during the shooting and decision making is Donald.” (“Decision making” referring to the firings in the boardroom scenes.)

He didn’t bother going on to say that everything before and after the shooting was Mark. But he did say, with an odd touch of defensiveness, “Donald’s executive producer and the star of the show, and we all try and be supportive of that.”

At that point, Mr. Trump, otherwise expansive and genial, sat with narrowed eyes and pursed lips, like a schoolboy who’d just been lectured. It showed a kind of emotional honesty that was crucial to Mr. Trump’s onscreen success. His boardroom-bully act — the scolding, the put-downs, the interruptions — wouldn’t have been as palatable if he hadn’t been so obviously enjoying it. The sheer pleasure he took in saying “you’re fired,” in playing the part of the demonic boss, gave the show a comic dimension that distinguished it from other, more earnest reality competitions.

With Mr. Schwarzenegger, there’s no joy, just a — you’ll pardon the word — robotic professionalism. His rebukes don’t have enough bite, his stares don’t have enough menace. His one noticeable zinger, “You guys are ducking more questions than Congress,” sounded scripted.

The show around him, with its cast of backbiting reality retreads and its blatant logrolling — the first challenge involved a beauty line put out by Tyra Banks, one of Mr. Schwarzenegger’s “advisers” — was pretty much the same as always. There was even a surprisingly direct nod to the Trump years (which featured his older children as advisers) with the presence of Mr. Schwarzenegger’s nephew Patrick Schwarzenegger as the other adviser.

But it was hollow at the center — the onus was on the contestants to make up, in their reaction shots, for Mr. Schwarzenegger’s tepid delivery. (Jon Lovitz and Carson Kressley were best at it, and it won’t be a surprise if they both survive deep into the season.)

Mr. Schwarzenegger, the former governor of California, makes sense in the abstract as a replacement host, bridging the celebrity-turned-politician gap from Ronald Reagan to Mr. Trump. But he’s too obviously a performer (and a limited one) trying to fill out an action-hero persona that’s now bigger than he is.

Mr. Trump, by contrast, seems to exist as pure personality — so far it has proved difficult to judge the distance between him and his persona. As he entered the larger and more heavily scrutinized arena of a presidential campaign — with actual stakes, rather than the “Apprentice” prizes of a charitable contribution or a job on a Trump Organization project — that persona became more one-dimensional. The bullying remained, but the joy faded, and the comedy was often reduced to nasty zingers and schoolyard-quality taunts.

Watching “The New Celebrity Apprentice,” it was clear that Mr. Trump’s imperiousness and (seeming) impetuousness had made him an ideal reality-TV boss, while Mr. Schwarzenegger’s cautiousness and rigidity make him a poor fit. (Though perhaps they came in handy in the governor’s office.) The “Apprentice” franchise has never been great television, but Mr. Trump gave it a reason for being. After Monday’s numbingly boring opener, someone needs to take “The New Celebrity Apprentice” into the boardroom, quick.

Article by Daniel Nussbaum

The 46-year-old pop star stopped singing while performing her hit “Emotions,” asking the crowd to sing the lyrics for her.

The issues appeared to be sorted out during her next song, “We Belong Together,” but she stopped singing midway through as her vocal track played on behind her.

“I’m trying to be a good sport here,” an apparently frustrated Carey told the audience during the performance.

“It just don’t get any better,” she added as her set came to a close and she exited the stage.

Thousands of viewers at home took to social media to weigh in on the performance, with some saying 2016 had claimed Carey’s career as its “final victim.”

Carey acknowledged the disastrous performance in a tweet early Sunday, saying simply: “Sh*t happens.”

As CBS News noted, this is not the first time Carey has lip-synced during a nationally televised performance; the singer also mimed her way through the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2015.

An estimated two million people filled Times Square Saturday night for the ball drop. Gloria Estefan, Thomas Rhett and pop band DNCE also performed live on the show.

Mariah Carey’s voice box was hacked by the Russians! (satire) /celebrityreputation/2017-01-01-mariah-careys-voice-box-was-hacked-by-the-russians-satire /celebrityreputation/2017-01-01-mariah-careys-voice-box-was-hacked-by-the-russians-satire#respond Wed, 30 Nov -0001 00:00:00 +0000 http://162.244.66.231/celebrityreputation/2017-01-01-mariah-careys-voice-box-was-hacked-by-the-russians-satire In addition to hacking the 2016 election, the Russians also hacked Mariah Carey’s voice on New Year’s Eve, causing her to be unable to sing. Amazingly, they also hacked the real-time music track to make it seem like she was somehow still singing. Wow. The Russians are really good hackers.

Carey’s New Year’s Eve performance disaster wasn’t a “lip sync” fail, it turns out: It was the Russians!

I know this because the Washington Post just reported it. In a headline that has since been revised, the WashPost first reported, “Mariah Carey’s lips penetrated by Russian hackers.”

The source for their story was an “unnamed intelligence source with firsthand knowledge of oral penetrations.”

When a spokesperson from Mariah Carey’s organization clarified the issue by telling the Washington Post it was actually a “lip sync fail,” the Washington Post altered its headline to read, “We still think it was the Russians who penetrated Mariah Carey; lip sync conspiracy theory refuted by new intelligence sources.”

In explaining how Mariah Carey’s lips were penetrated by the Russians, the Washington Post explains that someone ran a McAfee virus scan on Carey’s laptop, and some “virus stuff” was found there. Later, Mariah Carey kissed her laptop during a Skype video call with a cute puppy, causing the virus to transfer to her lips. This, the Post explains, is how her lips were “hacked by the Russians.”

CONFIRMED: Donald Trump asked the Russians to hack Mariah Carey’s lips

Confirming the report, President Obama issued a statement, warning that Russian state actors were “attempting to silence America’s most treasured voices” and that Donald Trump actually told the Russians to hack Mariah Carey in the first place.

Further bolstering the report, Washington Post reporters asked each other if they believed the Russians hacked Mariah Carey’s voice box, and they all agreed that’s exactly what happened. Reuters then ran with that story, reporting, “A scientific consensus of journalists confirms the Russians penetrated Mariah Carey’s lips.”

When Mariah Carey insisted, yet again, that she was not “penetrated” and that the entire episode was nothing more than an audio board failure, she was labeled a “conspiracy theorist” by CNN, which brought on an “international security expert” to insist that, “If the Russians can hack Mariah Carey, they might have hacked Milli Vanilli, too.”

Welcome to 2017, sheeple! This is the year when nothing has to be actually true before it’s reported in the Washington Post. Nothing makes sense, no evidence is required to believe anything, and whatever you did that you now regret, just say the Russians hacked your brain.

It was the Russians, by God. For the rest of the year, any time a man gets caught sleeping with someone other than his wife, he can just declare, “The Russians took control of my Anthony Weiner!”
